Normalising billing cycles

Subscriptions are billed on all kinds of schedules, which makes them hard to compare. This tracker converts every subscription to a true monthly cost using a consistent set of factors:

• Weekly × 52 ÷ 12 (roughly 4.33 payments a month)
• Monthly × 1
• Quarterly ÷ 3
• Yearly ÷ 12

The yearly total is simply the monthly total × 12, so an annual plan that looks cheap per year is compared fairly against a monthly one.

Using this tracker

1. Pick your currency.
2. Add each subscription with its name, the amount you're charged, and how often you're charged.
3. Tag it with a category (or type your own) to see where your money goes.
4. Add or remove rows with the Add and buttons. Totals update instantly.

Finding cancel candidates

The Cancel Candidates list sorts everything by monthly cost, highest first. A common approach is to review the top few: are you actually using them? Could an annual plan be cheaper than monthly? Could you share a family plan? Each row shows the yearly saving you'd unlock by cancelling it.
